Students and teachers from Ludlow High School were recently invited to participate in the New Visions Art Show 2017, at UMass. According to their website this unique art exhibit gives the public a window through which to see the work of K-12 students and their teachers displaying the many ways artists learn and create. Students from seventeen area schools participated, with thirty seven students from LHS submitting work (see list of names below).
All three LHS art teachers, Eliza LaCroix, Brett Smith and Carey Maguire-Noble also submitted work. The reception was held at the Herter Art Gallery on Sunday, April 2nd. Students who submitted artwork to the exhibit had the following to say about their experience.
